Painted finally!

  My perfect porch for coffee and people watching. The painters took their time with the details! So many little areas to paint.  This round pick and the sweeping steps up to it helps distinguish the home as a Queen Anne style Victorian, or so they tell me.  The original color was sort of a teal. I loved the color family, but wanted to go lighter and beachy-er. Our contractor was adamant about using Sherwin-Williams inside, Benjamin Moore outside. The elements can be very punishing in a sea-side home. We will see how well it all holds up!  We used the color finder:  Benjamin Moore blue exterior TOriginal color This is a detail of the back steps. We went through several possible combinations before we landed on a good plan that all parties found acceptable.
